Second Chance Ranch extends a heartfelt thank you to all of the friends of the many rescued horses and dogs that we have saved because of your thoughtfulness and support. Second Chance Ranch was organized to help both homeless and injured animals who would otherwise not have a second chance at life. It is through your gifts of time and donations that many animals have received shelter, food, vaccinations, medical care, and microchipping. Some of the best pets and most loyal family members are animals who have survived horrendous ordeals.

Currently, we are primarily dedicated to transitioning and rehabilitation of race horses. While some require rehabilitation of injuries or time off, others are sound and ready for continued training.

Not all of the animals that come to us are suitable for adoption, and the Ranch assumes the lifetime care of these wonderful creatures. Please consider becoming a hero to a horse or dog given permanent sanctuary, by sponsoring one. (Click their pictures to read their stories.)
